Bits and Pieces

Hello, my name is Ken Saunders from the Boston Massachusetts area and I'm a 41 year old individual who is Legally Blind due to a congenital condition known as Ocular Albinism with Nystagmus, and one who lives with Diabetes.

None of these issues interferes with my ability to accomplish any goal that I set out to tackle. My greatest passions are marketing, graphical arts, managing my websites, and volunteering for the Mozilla Foundation.

This 'n' That

Access Firefox - Creator and Project Manager

AccessFirefox.org Logo

The site that promotes Firefox accessibility for persons with disabilities. It is our goal to promote Firefox accessibility worldwide to those who would otherwise have to spend a lot of money on products that Firefox provides for free, and to make the Internet as open, accessible, and enjoyable as it can possibly be for all.

In October of 2006, I was selected for the Volunteer Spotlight (member of the month) on SpreadFirefox.com. A few months later I became an administrator. Currently I'm part of the SFx Team. Spread Firefox is undoubtedly my favorite place to spend my time online.

TheMozillian.com - Owner/Operator

The Mozillian.com logo

This is my latest project that will bring all and only Mozilla content to the site's visitors. I just started to work on it so it'll be some time before it's ready for an official launch.

MouseRunner.com - Owner/Operator

MouseRunner.com Logo

Mouse Runner started as a hobby to lessen the affects of New England Winter boredom. The site went live on February 16, 2005 and without a budget for marketing, the site has turned out to be reasonably successful and popular with an average of 100,000 visitors per month. MouseRunner.com is being fully rewritten and you can check out the building grounds to see its progress on MouseRunner.net.

As I mentioned at the top of the page, I have a great interest in computer generated graphical arts. I've been a member of deviantART.com for 3 years now and in that time I have submitted over 200 different pieces of my artworks that have been individually viewed more than 257,000 times.
